Jasidih Women's Fellowship conducts Healtchcare Training

The Women’s Fellowship of Believers Church Jasidih Diocese organized a healthcare training seminar from 2nd to 5th April 2013. 17 female church workers attended. They learned about various health topics, mainly pertaining to women, pregnancy and childcare.

In the coming days, the church workers will travel from village to village educating rural women about health and hygiene. Most of the women in these villages are illiterate and unaware about health-related matters. As a result, many women and children in the area die unnecessarily.
“Many women come for prayer because they are sick,” said church worker Baladina. “They don’t know how to take of themselves and their children. Now it will be easy—after prayer we will be able to teach them how to take care of themselves as well as their children.”
This seminar was part of Believers Church’s new healthcare project, which aims to educate two million women in the next two years.
